Imagine. Explore. Tell.
Reading is an exciting journey that promises new surprises and interesting things to discover.
The Program has 3 main components: Reading Aloud, Storytelling & Public Speaking, and Creative Writing.
Reading Aloud
This involves a 45-minute session of children taking turns at reading audibly from the same story book appropriate for their age/grade. The sessions are managed by a Reading Assistant and can take place both online and in-person.
- Promotes correct pronunciation, intonation and diction
- Expands vocabulary
- Improves comprehension and memory retention
- Builds confidence and self-esteem
Kiddie Content: In the process of reading regularly, we expect the children to develop a capacity for creating new stories that can be compiled and published as their own original content.
Storytelling & Public Speaking
Storytelling is a skill that is rapidly gaining popularity in the world of work. Adults are using it as a tool for marketing various brands as well as highlighting what they do. This means that when a child learns this skill early then they have acquired something valuable for future use in their career line.
Story Game Session: This is an interactive story-telling session where children create new stories together in a game setting. This is aimed at enhancing their thinking skills, widening their vocabulary, and helping them learn how to weave together a story that is comprehensible.
Public Speaking: These training sessions help children gain the confidence to express themselves clearly infront of an audience, a vital skill in their career development.
